Conflicts are a natural part of human interaction. 
They can arise in any type of relationship, whether in a private or professional environment.  
Resolving conflicts and strengthening relationships is therefore essential.  

Conflicts are like thunderstorms. But just as the air is fresher after a storm, they can also be an opportunity for growth and change. Mediation and conflict counseling can make a valuable contribution here. 

What are the benefits of mediation and conflict counseling? 

  • No further escalation, but viable solutions
  • Direct participation: The parties involved in the conflict find a solution together. The cow is often off the ice in just a few sessions.  
  • Future orientation: Mediation and conflict counseling often lead to compromises that are acceptable to all parties involved.

When we get into a conflict, we are often so preoccupied with our own thoughts that we lose sight of the other person's perspective. As a mediator and conflict consultant, I help the parties involved to listen again - and not just with their ears, but also with their hearts. This enables us to understand the actual causes of the conflict and to find new solutions by changing our perspective. Even if mediation does not always repair the relationship, it can lead to solutions that can be accepted by all sides. 

Mediation

Mediation attempts to establish a connection between the conflicting parties. Through a structured process, the parties involved can overcome their differences and work out viable solutions together. It is not a question of being right, but of how a common gain can be achieved. In this way, compromises can be reached that are acceptable to all sides.

Conflict Counseling

1:1 conflict counseling is ideal if you want to take personal action to prevent a conflict or if you are looking for advice on how to deal with an existing conflict. In our 1:1 sessions, we examine the causes and consequences of the conflict as well as the different perspectives and discuss possible solutions. In this way, the (impending) storm of conflict can become a source of renewal and personal growth.
