Services

It is difficult to get an objective picture of the coaching and mental trainer services offered. This is why I have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to give more information on these topics.

The DBVC Deutscher Bundesverband Coaching e.V. defines coaching on its website as follows: “Coaching is the professional advice, accompaniment and support of people […]. The goal of coaching is the further development of individual or collective learning and performance processes with regard to primarily professional concerns. ”

In short, coaching or advice should be understood primarily as “helping people to help themselves”. A good coach asks the right questions and helps you to reflect yourself. The coach does not hand you solutions, but helps you to develop your own answer to your challenge.

For those who want to deal more intensively with the term and topic of coaching, I have put together some further links here:

  • A Link to the Global Coaching Study of the ICF and PWC (2016 ICF Global Coaching Study), which gives interesting insights into the distribution of coaching.
  • A Link to the website of the DBVC Germand Federal Coaching Association which supplies further explanations on Coaching as a profession.
  • An interesting article on the use of the coaching term in sports and business by T. Webers and R. Zickermann: Training vs. Coaching – about aporias in the professionalization discussion. Coaching Theor. Practice 5, 35-50 (2019).

As a career coach I specialize in helping you achieve your personal and professional goals. I help you in finding out about your strengths and weaknesses as well as your competencies. Based on this analysis and the results, I support you in choosing a career path and profession that best suits you and your interests. Once we have found this out, I will support you in all the necessary next steps to settle and excel in your new profession.

In general, a coach will help you identify specific goals and support you in working out a plan to make them become reality.

Coaching can help you in the following situations:

  • In the clarification and identification of personal challenges
  • Identifying your own strengths and potentials
  • In dealing constructively with new challenges
  • In working on your mental strengths

Mental training encompasses all methods that enable you to achieve top performance even under pressure. Mental training is often aimed at athletes. However, most methods and exercises can also be used in an economic context.

A distinction is often made between the following areas that can be trained:

  • Mental technique training
  • Concentration
  • Motivation
  • Mental strength
  • Mental preparation for competition

You can find more information about mental training and training as a mental trainer on the homepage of the German Mental Trainer Association (Deutsche Mentaltrainerakademie e.V.), where I also completed my training.

Basically, training is always about learning certain behaviors or “ideal” processes. Mental training is all about concrete exercises in order to train specific areas such as concentration or dexterity in a targeted manner.
Since mental strength is fundamental for the achievement of optimal performance, I use mental training methods in my coaching sessions as well.

Depending on the topic and needs, a single coaching session will cost you  185 euros (duration of the individual session 60 minutes).

If you would like to work with me, I will create an individual offer for you after the introductory discussion about the number of hours and the costs incurred for working on your topics.

However, sessions can also be booked individually.

If you want to prepare yourself for your job interview, I offer a special interview coaching package. This will cost 300.00 euros  and includes 1 appointment of 90 minutes + 30 minutes of telephone coaching.

Here you will find further information on the coaching process. If you have any further questions, simply call me or send me an email with the corresponding question.

I usually respond to your request within 24 hours.
If you still haven’t received an answer after 2 working days, I kindly ask you to contact me again. I don’t ignore requests – something must have gone wrong in the transfer.

When in doubt, it is easiest to give a quick call and speak in person. You can find my phone number here.

A coaching session will usually last about 60-90 minutes. It can take place in person, by phone or video call.

I find the offer exciting,
but I’m not sure if it’s right for me.

If you are not sure whether my offer fits you or offers added value, just give me a call. You can find my contact details here.
Together we can answer your question.
